Lucas octane booster

I know most of the octane booster out there doesn't do much or anything but does anyone know anything about this stuff?

Thanks.

remember if it raises the octane by 5 points (which is alot), that in reality means it goes from 93 octane to 93.5 octane.

Try a search for toulene or zylene

I've seen the info on mixing that and marvel mystery oil (cant find that anywhere, maybe not avail in Canada?) with fuel.

I only have 91 available and was thinking of going from a 2# to a 4# but was not sure it that was the best idea with only 91? I thought this lucas stuff might just give a bit more insurace with the 91.

10 points = 1 octane I have yet to see an autozone "octane booster" that actually does any good.. so paying $4-5 for 1 octane is a RIP-OFF.. plus extra octane doesnt do any good unless you've got a tune to support it..

There is some stuff called "off-street legal" i think which raises you 20 points or 2 octane.. thats enough to raise your timing 1-2 degrees..

This work's ---over-the-counter 'boosters' don't. Yes, that costs more but it works as advertised. I used it at the track religiously. .

nope.,

I run it once in the spring when I pull the truck out of storage and when I go to the track.

I also run it through my grand cherokee once in a while to clean out the fuel system

Torco Rulz for conveinence.

Toulene is harmless in less than 40 percent
mixes. And it REALLY cleans things up !!!
