Supercharged SRT-10 "What a Joke"

I have just recieved the newest edition of sport truck and it has a SRT-10 that has been supercharged. It has a vortech supercharger, with intercooler. They said stock this truck has 372 RWHP and after the supercharger, and bassani after-cat exhaust and tuning, it is putting out 503 RWHP, but that is not the funny part. What got me was that it ran 13.15 @ 107.9 in the 1/4 mile. This is in a truck that is around $50,000 new and a supercharger system that cost $15,000, not including the exhaust and tune. And on top of it all the Lightning looks better. If no one else thinks this is funny I will shut up, but untill then I will be laughing.

It is the gospel... No wait, it's a magazine

http://www.srt10forum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13

Boomer is designing a PAXTON kit for the srt-10:
guys, i have spent a lot of time latley doing R&D on the supercharger issue. we have developed a kit that utilizes the paxton, and we then include a multy faceted thermal dynamics kit, to eliminate heat soak. we have that issue resolved, expect around 650+ to the wheels. we could get more, but for a stock engine that is plenty. ....

Sean Roe was designing one, but he has too many other projects going so he is bowing out of the supercharging the v-10 for now.

Henessey just hit 212mph in a viper with the same Twin turbo kit he is putting in a srt-10 pickup. He has a quad cab srt-10 running 12.0 on stock tires.

I recall all the magazines quoting the lightning running 14's in the 1/4 mile. It's the gospel, isn't it?

I saw a supercharged srt 10 on TRUCKS magazine too, it has novi paxton supercharger. It says that with this supercharger horsepower climbed to 600 and 580 of torque everything else stock.

If you want a real laugh, head on over to Hennessy's site and get a load of what they want for a pulley and exhaust on the Ford GT....$25k

They should stick to over charging Dodge owners

Something was wrong with that truck from the start. They dont dyno 372 period, unless its only pumping out 425hp.
