Anyone with undercover bed cover???
I have the Undercover but I don't know exactly what you are referring to by the "side protectors"?? Do you mean the side rail covers? If so, you don't remove them to install the cover! Here is an older pix of mine:
Cool. I love my Undercover. It's the only hard cover on the market that can be easily removed and replaced by one person. And it looks like it was made for a Lightning.
The only problem that I have had is with water stains -- like glass rings on a coffee table. I set a cup of coffee down on it, left a ring, and didn't wash it for a while. There is now a permanent (?) white ring under the surface.

Thanks Tim I actually am glad you replied I always try to look for your threads as I tend to trust your opinion.

FYI: I e-mailed Versacover re the white stains. As usual, they responded almost immediately.
"Hi Tim,
The best way to rejuvenate the white spots is with a little motor oil at a time, dabbed on a rag. With this...just try to rub oil back into the cover.
This is a plastic based material, which is made originally from petroleum based products originally. When it turns "whitish" like this...it means that some "un-friendly material to plastic" has pulled some of the oils out of the cover that were originally in the matrix of the material on the cover. So take your time..(don't put too much oil at a time), but gradually try to return the oils back to the cover gradually by rubbing the tip of a slightly dampened rag with motor oil as you are trying to get oil to penetrate the surface to restore the original luster.
This seems to work in most cases.
Best of luck!

I tried the oil thing last night and it seems to be helping.

Tim, you might also try Armour All wipes....as I had the same problem from a glass of something resulting in the "white circle" on my Undercover. I used a wipe and it's gone! Of course, this may just "mask" the white circle...but, at least it's no longer noticable!
