Expedition console question

Just curious how everybody is doing the passenger seat belt/mounting once you cut the seat down to the bucket?

Also, anybody got any more pictures. I found a few, but not many.

Seat guy in New Jersey is:

Upholstry Unlimited

201 991 8343

152 Garfield AVE

Kearny NJ 07032

ask for George

I know he has done quite a few. He will tell you the 3 parts you need to bring him, and he will deliver you a bucket seat. Turnaround is about 5 hours or so.

Later

This is what I done:

I bought a van seat off ebay ($50) ... this is so I can get the seat base and bracket.

Bought a bracket that is used in van conversions that bolts in stock location (2 holes are the stock one, 1 is where the seat belt went, 1 have to drill) $25

Had upholestry shop take my passenger seat and above van seat... modify upholestry & cushion to put on van seat base, took back of stock seat and put on van seat base. $150

Seat belt buckle part number : XL3Z-1561202-BAC $21.38

Looks awesome, works like a champ

That seat belt number; where does it bolt up? Does it bolt to the seat base and have a plastic cover basically just like the drivers side?

bolts to the side of the seat... like it would in a van bucket seat.

Cool; that's what I am looking for! Is it grey/match the drivers side? Does it come with the bolt/nut to hold it on?
