Beware of Ford Credit
Check your contract
I bought a 2000 F-150 in 1999. My payments were always $463.27 a month. Tha last payment was over a hundred dollars more, but it was on my contract the day I bought the truck. Perhaps you had the same and forgot about the larger last payment.

Tim,
I wouldn't know what it is like to be so perfect with everything being so cut and dried. Do you monitor everthing in your life with such perfection that nothing ever slips up on you and nothing ever changes that you don't catch? Has practicing law made you that cynical? Maybe it's an occupational hazard.
My daughter just finished her freshman year at Ole Miss and plans on attending law school there. I hope the hell she doesn't turn out that way.

The interest is calculated daily. I just didn't realize car loans had moved that way over the years. I paid the final payment amount electronically as posted online. I got a check in the mail for $1.94 overpayment. How much did it cost generate the mailer check and mail it? Simply amazing since the amount kept going up as the month went on. I figured with their lag in transfering funds I would owe $1.94. All that matters now is that the title is in my drawer.
Halflife,
No loans so far. She's got 3 more years before Law school. I paid about $5500 a semester last year for tuition, dorm, meal plan, books and sorority. Law school is about $1700 more a semester but I should be able to drop the $1400 a semester for the sorority. I think they only do the sorority thing the first 4 years. Unless she wants to be like Frank the Tank (Old School) and be a lifer, LOL.
Now you know why I don't want to pay Ford Credit any more that I have to.

Tim,
Sorry about that. You caught me on a bad day. After rereading that I came off pretty harsh but then again so did you. :o
