Hi I just got an 01 Lightning with 49k miles on it....the boost gauge dosen't work but the blower is still whining and making pleanty of power except for that damn ignition coil again!!! They fixed that once when I bought it and now they are saying it is a different one!! any help would be great!!

You boost gage may just be disconnected? Dose it have a gage piller set up?

As far as the coil pack issue you have to give us more info like which one it was that went bad.

frat, forgive us for hi jacking your thread.

post which coil went bad and that will help us help you. You see some times the second to the last coil on the passenger side goes bad due to cooln't leak from heater hose.

That is the first one that they replaced! The truck is going to my mechanic tomorrow to tell me which one it is.....I will let you know.......don't worry about hi-jacking my thread as long as you share your little link with me if it has to do with sweet truck parts

get as much info on your truck as possible and contact one of the big 3. esp if you have any mods done. whoever you bought it from or if from a dealer, find out who the last owner was and what they had done to it. maybe that can shed some light on any problems that your having for now. Does it have a custom tune? stuff like that.
