Why do you keep bringing up JL?

This is not about JL or Jim or Sal or anyone else. I just prefer hearing from people who are truely interested in racing fast trucks. Not the what if, bench racers and dyno dudes but the people who push their trucks down the track.
My invite is just for some friendly compitition because you tend to talk a great deal but seem to add little to the conversation, how great would it be to actually do something.
Origionally posted by WaveBlaster785: I don't care if you're faster, I don't care if your **** is bigger.
In NMRA Lightning/Truck neither of those things would matter.
When called out, a gentleman's honor required he meet on the field or forever forfeit that honor.

What the **** is going on in this thread? Did the first half of it get chopped off or something? It makes no sense.

Waveblaster asks if someone can help diagnose an engine noise and out of ****ing NOWHERE Crazyoldman starts talking trash about empty heads and all of the sudden he brings up taking it to the track and defending one's honor.

First off, I don't know you. Second, when did I ever talk **** to you? Obviously my truck is broke right now, so where is the honor in calling out someone whose truck is broken?

When it's up and running I will give you a shout. Street tire for street tire, meet you at cecil one day.

Until then do you think you can manage to ****? That'd be great, thanks.

Suavy, no updates yet. The truck is going to a dealership in the area on Monday or Tuesday. It's still making noise, and I'm not going to drive it like that, would drive me insane. I'll get her fixed up one way or the other.

Been looking at cobras as well.

Wave, let me know if you need an X-plan for the Cobra?

Keep the faith!

Many might not know this but I don't know you never talked to you but I treat everyone like I do. maybe many could learn from this?
I will pray on this tonight!

Peace,

Suavy

Appreciate the offer Suavy.

I'll bump the thread when I figure it all out. I'm sure it's the tensioners, just not in the mood to tear it apart again, I want another set of eyes to maybe see something I didn't.

I toasted my ported Heaton last Friday and have been working hard to get my truck ready for Maple Grove. I feel your pain, truely I do.
I'm just looking to get some compitition going.
With over 50k GenI and II trucks built why do only a handful show up for sanctioned events? Unless we get more trucks out there we will always just be add ons to Mustang events.
I'd love to see a heads up event with 30 or more of the top NLOC trucks there to see who really are the big dogs.
If you want to meet at Cecil I'll bring my daughters stock truck and we can go at it.
I hope your dealer knows what they're doing. My last visit and I mean last, cost me $2k, and the problem was a fuel pump clamp.
Good luck and a few heartfelt prayers!
