What kind of front runners (or skinnies) is everyone running. I have AR Baja's in the rear and am looking for some for the front

NOTE: Don't want 15"....do not want to shave calipers

I just run our spare tires they are only 7 inches wide and alot lighter than our stock wheels. I belive they have a SR speed rating.

195/80SR16.. 94 bucks... tread is 4.8" overall diam. 28.2 weighs 20lbs. Just about the same diameter as stock... Not to mention it can carry the weight of our front ends...Anyone ever see what Mickey Thompson or Hoosier says about their weight maximums on their front runners..

Here is a picture of the 16" front runner you are wanting, while not cheap, this 16" tire AND rim weigh 24# and are 27.5" tall and require no grinding! I spec'd the first four (and to date, probably only four) 16" front runners they have built. Perfect compliment for my 16" x 11" rear wheels. My friend PitchBlack has the other set.

16" x 5" front skinny rims and 4-1/2" tread width tires.

Any idea on the weight capacity of that tire?

I have A/R Baha's in all four corners, I think they look pretty cool although they arent the lightest wheels available for the Lightnings. 16x8 on the fronts

Sorry, these are true front runners, since they are designed for minimum weight, this tire and wheel combo are track only items. Neither are designed for street use unless it is a 1/4 mile at a time with no potholes or high speed corners.

That is the problem I was having with Hoosiers or MT's...750lb weight capacity scared me even if only at the track... quote per Hoosier"750 lbs of load at 35psi. per tire
Thanks.
Steve Hudspeth, Hoosier Racing Tire"

Thanks for the info...

I am out of the country right now, but certain front tire capacity is at or more than 1000 lb, but still a good bit below true load. Generally run 40 psi pressure.
