Another Painted Caliper Pic.

Yes I know the front tire was a little low.

I really liked how the rear turned out. Wasn't able to get the Lightning bolt on it, but otherwise I like it. Can't wait to get the FTVB next week though. I've about had it with these wimpy cosmetic mods. BTW my wife helped with the stickers. She has a lot more patience than me.

Thanks. It was the Duplicolor kit from Wal-Mart. I've have now been in a Wally a grand total of five times. The graphics are from Webextremes.

I bought the same "Lightning" graphics from WebExtreme. But I used the easy brush type caliper paint from Eastwood I hate having to prep and tape off areas. Quality product and excellent shine Costs a bit more but well worth it.

Thanks and I did. It looks worse than it is though. Wheel cranked over on a downhill slope always looks bad.

The Duplicolor kit is brush on, has great shine (those are bad pics of his, trust me) and cost $14.

Exactly man, the Duplicolor kit looks awesome.

I just don't lilke to see people feel like they have to fork over $40 or $50 to get a good result, the F2 and Eastwood kits are overrated and overpriced.

Nice work man!

Wasn't aware that the duplicolor kit was brush on. Heck...I searched for one. I definitely like $14 over $40. Great shine on that kit....good find.

Thanks for the replys. One good thing that came out of this, was when I was crawling around under the truck I saw that there was a fair bit of crude around the rear end vent tube and the rear itself was a little wet. I had my service guy look at while they were changing the oil and they re-sealed the rear diff under warrenty. I wasn't planning on changing the diff fluid for a while. Woohoo free oil change.

They must have had a deal on RTV though. It's sticking out all over the place. Oh yeah it seems like the mechanic needed a 13 mile test drive to make sure the rear didn't leak.
