Hi,

It's Brake replacement time for me. Does anybody have advice on aftermarket performance brakes for the 03 Lightning? I'm looking for something sporty, such as the red brake pads on the Z06 Corvette, Porsches, etc.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Brembo has a great working setup. They STOP and STOP and STOP again

Not cheap ... but very consistent Gran Tourismo is the name and the
slotted rotors are the best for racing or track use. I run Hawk HP+
pads all the time on them.

 

If you want good looking calipers, there are lots of paint colors to pick from.

 

I have the AP Racing kit, but you should take a look at the TCE kit. (Wilwood calipers)
