2000 lightning I was thinking of going with a Denso Iridium IT-22 but have not done any mods yet will that be ok to install in my stock lightning until I do the mods so that its already done, and be fine driving around?

 

Yes, I did the same and it ran fine.

 

You will be fine with IT 22's.
I have even colder NGK TR8IX's in my vehicle.
Cold plugs used to be more of a problem with the older carburated vehicles that burned rich at idle and would foul plugs.

 

So even on no mods and stock motor that plug will not cause a problem?

 

I drove around for over a month on those plugs with a stock truck and didn't have any problems at all.

 

Ok thanks guys, but then in a couple months im going with 4# and cai and exhaust that should still be fine right?

 

I'm making 417hp/528tq on them. If that tells ya anything.
