What kind of ET drop did your old plenum do, what do you think this new one will do? On a pulley and filter truck.

The most useful test would be on a setup often used - like ported eaton, 4lb lower, CAI, tune. If you want to send me one, I already have dyno tuning time setup for 3 weeks from now. If it proves itself I'll pay you, if not I'll send it back?

Johnny, First off nice job, I love that nice smooth bend into the blower, I do realize that the post indicates that this is for an eaton but do you think it would work on an MP? Thanks, Todd

To JohnyLightning

Is this plenum any louder then the stock unit? Like going to a ported blower from a stock unit or the difference from the stock airbox to running a open air cone filter.

I also am interested in expected changes to the Hp and TQ curves and especially compatability with the MP blower.
I was told by a tuner that some HP is gained and TQ is hurt by these sheetmetal style intakes. Hope this one is better all around.

Yes it will work on the MP as well on any ported eaton or srock eaton,Any thing that bolts to the stock plenum will work on this plenum..You will gain HP as well as Trq!.the test we did on the 1st design made more TRQ thru the whole rpm band than HP!...So it makes much more TRQ than HP,which we need for our trucks for sure!.....JL

hmm

just not into the fabricated look on street driven vehicles.

I'd like to see the power gains though.

JL any new info? I would love to see some dyno numbers on a ported eaton and/or magnum with stock plenum vs your fabbed one.
