Gee Cliff,
I still have wood from watching that video...

Just for info. I was on the SCT site and their new Excalibur 2 will allow shift adjustment.
Automatic Transmission Shift Schedule:
WOT 1st - 2nd: -3 to +7mph
WOT 2nd - 3rd: -4 to +8mph
WOT 3rd - 4th: -5 to +10mph
WOT 4th - 5th: -5 to +10mph

Do you think that's enough?

On another note, I've been using the Toyo RA-1's 305-35-18 and they are absolutely incredible. Durability is excellent for that type of tire and the load capacity is 1819lbs.

I am totally convinced that the 1% guys have more fun...
Aaahyyyeeee! (that's the American pronunciation)

The GAC's held up VERY well ... I have done Sebring, Summit Point and
Autobahn and they aren't corded yet!!! WOOT !!! Three weekends on
a set of tires! Who'd a thunk it? (Or maybe I'm just not DRIVING hard
enough? < grin >)

Glad you like the toyos ... how do they compare grip wise to the Hoosiers?

The SVT trailer ... Which is at a lot of Ford events including the on-track events. I really wanted some racing gloves, but until I find a pair that
fits well, I will stick with the mechanix's gloves.

Hi Cliff,
I wonder if when you bring down the WOT shift if it also brings down the kick down. I am sure Sal will have an answer to that one.

Hoosier makes an excellent product but I can't tell you if the Toyos have more grip. When I was doing my research on R compound tires last year, I
went to all the manufacturers booth at Sema Las Vegas. The limitations of sizes brought it down to Hoosier and Toyo. The Hoosier tech was concerned about the weight of the truck and the resulting load on the tires. (Obviously you don't seem to be having issues there). The Toyo guys had no issues with load capacity and were quite excited at having a truck running on their tires. I initially wanted to run 335-30-18 all around but settled on the 305-35-18. From my observations at 7-8 track days and other peoples comments, I can say that the quality is excellent and the wear is the highest of the R compound tires. Initially they are DOT and will work extremely well in the wet until the thread becomes a full slick. In our group, we also have 3 Cobras, running with them and they won't look at anything else.

It's because the mods have elected to add an F150online "frame" to everything. That's why you see "link.htm" as the file name when you try to save.

Mods: This "feature" is worthless to you and worthless to us. Why not disable it?
