Why does anyone have to be a "douche"? He has a fast truck and might be good competition. I personally like competition and would find life pretty boring with out it!! I do find the "watch your back amusing though!!"

Watch your back-HAHA That isn't even the motor that came out of the truck. He needs to mount a roll cage and several other things to be legal at the track also. He has about a second to catch JLP. HAHA watch his back.

here's my new engine dyno pull with 18# of boost and a 100 shot!...We hope to hit the track next week with this setup and a different gear in the truck!..

 

Pretty impressive, as I remember Parish is running 17#'s and he's got a 100 DRY shot and put down 767 to the wheels so in theory he's a little ahead of JL in the power department, although I know JL Plans to bump it up. He's got a little displacement on JL though, stock heads however.

Personally I'm very impressed with his truck even if it's not a lightning.

 

I think that it's very cool that a guy with a stock-looking Chevy is laying down 750HP. Very cool.

But "watch your back?" Gimme a break. That's the only way that JL will see him -- in the rear view.

 

OK, so the guy's got a fast truck. That's cool, but I don't think he's gonna run even close to Johnny's numbers this year.

 

i am not a JL cheerleader, and parishes truck is pretty sweet, but:

how do you figure?

somehow i doubt those are stock heads that came in the truck. maybe stock ls6 heads.

 

I said that he's ahead because at 18#'s with a 100 wet shot Johnny put down 770something on the ENGINE dyno. And with 17 and a dry shot Parish put 767 to the WHEELS. With that current setup that Johnny has and those big tires he'll lose alot to the wheels.

Granted Johnny will turn the wick up and go past Parish for now.

Much props to the stock looking chevy, more my style, but I can respect that both are making power. I kinda like that stock looking lightning that makes 806

 

oh, i need to read more closely, i didn't see that johnny's dyno chart was from an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno.

(and yeah, i would rather have that red truck with the hair dryer also. )
