YEP!

It's so rare that I get one (working weekend), I REALLY have to capitalize on them.

I'm going to be a wrench turning fool

PS. under no circumstances don't start on that bottle of jack daniels before, during or in progress of your weekend project, leave it for the end, lol

Casey02L - the gold is actually a protective films that peels off. The cams and heads are LFP and the cams themselves are copper coated steel.

Suavy - the springs are Roush. I picked them up on ebay a few weeks back for $75, so I couldn't pass a deal lke that. Hard to go wrong for less than a C-note. I still need to figure out what I'm doing for the front.

Jerzey and Mike - The JD is a garage staple (note the dust/overspray). It's there for anticeptic and pain killer - you know medicinal first aid!! I like the idea of it being a vicory bottle, but that isn't in in the plans for this weekend any way.

If everything goes PERFECT (which it won't), I still have some parts to polish (timing cover, idler bridge, stat housing, oil adapter, loer intake runners, maybe more) and I still need to get the blower to Steig and get the SCT PRP in my hands. I'm shooting to big chunks this weekend (and not for the JD), but not completion.

Thanks guys!!
Herb

If anybody's in the area, it's an open invitation to drop by.

If there's enough interest, we could turn it into a semi-local mod fest. I've already got Scott (another SA Lightning owner) coming by Saturday AM and we're doing his plugs.

Catch me at herbs 'at' satx 'dot' rr 'dot' com if anyone's interested. I'm in the NE part of SA at 1604 and IH35.
