Tranny temp guage install?

Where/how do you install a transmision temp guage?

driver side near the shift mech. above the pan on the case there is a plug. superduties have a sender there, we halfto add our own.

I just went through this. the sending unit that comes with the gauge is 1/8 pipe thread. their is a plug on the trans that can be removed that is 1/8 pipe thread. i have a picture somewhere that someone sent me. let me find it and post it.

my sender from auto meter was the correct size.

The kit did come with other adapters though.
