Sal,

I had to go back to stock for Ford to diagnose my miss ...

Can I run the 4 lb road tune on the stocker pulley?

It appears that the repairs are already done, he just hasn't had time to reinstall the pulley.

LOL ... My service manager knows all about the mods ...
We wanted to go back to stock to make diagnosis a bit easier ...

Still don't know the real problem ... maybe a bad injector under load
is what the SVT engineers suggested.

Something's sendin #5 cylinder lean and eating plugs.

The turck has almost 60 K on it ... and they weren't all easy miles

Subscribing - I've got a "soft spot" for a lean #5.

Nothing to add Cliff , sorry.

I'm hoping to learn something to help keep my new motor together longer. My rod failue was on number 5 and the piston show evidence of lean errosion. From the top down, the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall is over 1/8" with the top of the ring visible. Number 6 is similar, but only 1/2 as bad. The remaining bores all have a uniform and "normal" gap. If I need to change something in the "support mechanisms, I want to know about it as I am assembly the new power plant, rather than tearing it down...

Herb
