honest story!

A few years ago, the local Clark station (howell) got busted for selling regular gas (87 octane) in both their pumps. They had to go a month selling Premium at the regular price.

I never liked Clark Gas. No particular reason, just don't like it.

However, back on topic. ARE you sure it's 98 octane?

The few stations here that sell 100 race gas get $4.00 or more per gallon.
Buyer beware

I was going to post this last week, but forgot:

Is there a way to test the octane of gasoline? I mean without being Mr. Science and all.

Federal Law prohibits the sale and dispensing of gas directly into a vehicle of over 98oct. That's why Sunoco 100oct in now called 98oct. It's still 100oct but they can't list it like that. It goes for $4.50 a gallon here in MD.
