Snuglid SL Bed Cover

Really like the cover, but was quoted a price of 1079.00 plus 150 shipping... this seems really expensive, is this the price everyone is paying.

thanks

For the price, you might want to check into a *******'s X2000. Sport Truck Direct has them for just about the same, and delivery is only $50.

I paid a little less than that, but I got a Bedrug, the Snuglid painting and a couple other mods from the same place. I then proceeded to grind the guy on the total cost of the package and saved a few bucks. I like the Snuglid for the remote open option. I didn't want to be messing with a key around a painted area in the dark. The underside of the Snuglid is a nice match to the Bedrug, as well. I think the quality of the fiberglass is a little better on the ******** I've seen, however.
Either lid is a good choice, looks wise.

That seems a little high on the snugtop brand, I think they are usually around 800 or so with no options. If you can afford it buy the snugtop over the *******. You get what you pay for, there's a reason the ******** are lower priced. I've had both, and the snuglid is by far the better quality. I have a ******* on my Lightning now only because it came with the truck and it has spider cracks around the lip because the fiberglass is so thin, and it doesn't fit all that great either.

Yup! The Sluglid SL is the best. I've had mine for three years, no probs. Easy to remove/install and opens and closes easy. It's low profile and the paint match is perfect.

Pics in my gallery!
