Found a great dyno at last
Any of you guys who live in OR-WA, and have been looking for a dyno that uses a wide band 4 A/F ratios (much more accurate than a sniffer) JMHO , look no longer. Fast Specialties in Vancouver WA is the place to go. www.fastspecialties.com 877 567 FAST . They are an SCT dealer, and specialize in our trucks. Dyno tec and tuner Travis knowa our trucks like the back of his hand. Ron the owner, and Amber the office manager are very friendly and knowledgeable. A very rewarding experience for Don! By the way, no more 300 mile trips for A/Fs, I came home with my own Wide Band Commander they installed for me. Thanks to Fast Specialties I had a great day.

I had FS tune my truck a few month ago. They run a top notch operation in my book. Travis listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a great tune. Amber is wonderful and really knows her stuff also. It's nice to finally have a good L tuner in the pnw. I went down on a dyno day and was impressed with what they had done with Charles Warners (Magnum Powers) truck. After riding with Ron in Charles L I was sold. Check them out!
I bought my WBC from them also. Great support and Great Prices. And less than an hour away for me.

The only other place I know in the area would be taking it Krazy Koncepts in Portland, they do work at their shop and have can have it dynoed at a differet shop, but they do the work. From what I have heard, could be wrong.

However, I am Lightningless, but hope that by then end of the summer I will change that.

Not sure if you remember me Aaron. I met you and Doug at the CC dyno day when Doug had the troubles. I was the guy looking over your shoulder buggin you about the predator. Hope your truck is getting back together. That video of yours but the brakes on my mod spree for a few months like I told Doug.
Travis did a good basic tune for me 4lb, cat back and basic bolt ons. I put a wideband in it and he has tweaked it a little for me via email since. If you havent been down to visit them you should.
Hope your back on the road soon.

It was Mark's truck. If memory serves he ran a best of 12.14 at 117 MPH which tells me with better traction devices would have put him into the 11's.
robertk232...if you talk to Charlie or Chris at Superchips Custom Tuning, and ask about tuning on a Mustang Dyno vs. a Dynojet they HIGHLY recommend using a Mustang Dyno.
The Mustang Dyno puts a load on the vehicle to simulate actual driving conditions. Also when we tune, we install a "bung" approx. 30 inches back from the last exhaust port. Using a tail pipe sniffer (from everything we have read and heard) is not as accurate. AFR can be .5 to 1 point off at that location.
Just FYI.
Thanks Don for your kind words,
Ron @ FS.

Please let us know how things work out. We are getting a lot of interest in the new Boost Cooler product. Doing an install on a 91 GMC Typhoon on Wednesday of next week. He is running the F.A.S.T system and hopes to drop into the 9's with the Boost Cooler addition and after the tune. Should be an interesting test.
Good luck,
Ron
