Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Backs?

Im thinking about buying these flowmaster cat-back exhaust system. The kit says its a bolt on and no welding or cutting is needed, however im in an auto academy at my school and my teacher says that the stock pipes are welded and ill have to cut them off and than weld these back on...

Has anyone installed these before or know if ill have to do cutting?

Thanks for any help,

It's just a bolt on, just take your stock catback and bolt the flowmaster, I have it and love it especially the tips.

Just wondering if you got them from the link listed above, and if not how much did you pay?
How do you feel that this compares to the Bassani?

thanks
