FFW May 20th - 22nd
I was planning on attending this event, but there was a conflict with FFW and the Coastal truck Nationals at Epping.
now Truckn nationals are closer for me, and I will be racing alot more that I will get to do at this event.
I will be at FFW in Aug, and I will see some of you guys I usually race with.
Good luck and be safe, I hope you get good weather both days.
take care

I really really appreciate you guys trying to help me, but I'm thinking I can just run on the street tune and be fine money-wise. We'll see. Thank you for the offers though.
Don - It's ok, I'm used to being slow! My truck has always been pretty damn consistent though.

HOLY I HAD NO IDEA THIS WAS GOING TO BE A $300.00 PASS
Wow LA I was wondering what all this talk about affording it was untill I spoke to V last night. I guess since I have Slicks it will basically cost me @ 150.00 to make a Pass, plus I got to figure 50.00 in fuel to get there, 40.00 in racing fuel once there, another 50.00 fuel to get back home, food etc...
And I'm suppose to also race Friday night, but unfortunately right now a bunch of "if's" must happen first. If I can find someone to mount tires today (so far I've struck out 3 times). If I can get out of work early tomorrow, and if it dont rain. I have cords sticking out of the back tires in a few spots so if I cant get tires mounted today, and there is any chance of even drizzle, there would be no possible way for me to drive it like this. Last year I went sideways a few times on that dam outer bridge crossing, I am not doing that again. Plus the way they are now I think I could stick my finger through them, so they surely are not road worthy....
I sure hope to make it and see you all there,

I have quick time pros so I'm guessing I can still run in the street class?? If not then I'm not going.

Believe me I thought about asking to borrow your tires for a pass.
V went through it all last night. YOU ARE FINE Leeann, as you have DOT tires.
I think it's a mere 35.00 -50.00. Plus you will be able to make passes all morning, (and you DO NOT have to join FFW).
BUT for people like me WITHOUT DOT's, we have to run one of the other 2 (or is it 3 truck classes) we will get NO morning passes at all, and sometime mid day will start by going straight to qualifying.
To run these other classes one will have to join FFW, and then there's a Class Fee. I believe it comes to $130.00 for me V said. (maybe a few bucks more). Some are running two classes so they can get some morning runs in,
that'll cost you @ 200.00
I wish I had DOT's I'd run that class with you Pal
I just hope I can bust some 12.0's off spray, then if all goes well, get at least one n20 pass in....

Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me. I even called Don to make sure about Saturday because some jerkoff tried telling me I can't run on Saturday for whatever reason?? I guess someone just doesn't want me going. Anyway, I'd share my tires w/ ya but I don't know how well that would work out.
What time is everyone heading over there? Let me know if you wanna meet up or something.

WOO HOO, Just got the F-1's mounted and balanced
Instead of a tip, the kid wanted a burnout, I think I left 10K of rubber in front of the place,
I also just got the ok on leaving work early (not that I do anything anyway)
AMOF it cost me 4 Tickets I had for Fri Night LI Ducks (@#$@$%@($
If Mother Nature holds out, me and V will be making passes Friday night
woo woo woo woo....

You did the burnout with the old tires right?
road trip
Black02, I'm heading down Saturday early AM, l was going down tomarrow but work once again stuck me. I'm leaving Milford somewhere between 4:00-5:00 am, making a 2 minute stop in spring lake to drop of my bag and then off to the track, if you want to make the drive down together post the details. Todd
I would be leaving from the Waterbury area. I dont mind leaving early, but I have to put my truck back together. I wont know untill tomorrow (Friday) night if I will be able to go. I have tomorrow off so I should be able to finish. Where would it be the easiest to meet?
What time do the gates open? Im only watching this time. In Aug I hope to be running though.

It'll be nice to put faces to the names.
