Can someone recommend a good brake caliper paint?
I hear much about 'Eastland',..any expierience?
If you painted yours, how long did it last/stay on?
All suggestions welcome.

Don't know much about Eastland but you can also try VHT spray paints.

The Eastwood Paint brushes on so you avoid masking and is very good. I've used both and it's all a matter of whether you want to spray or brush on the paint.

 

G2 kit all the way. Very easy and great results. I did the spray thing on my 01 and would the brush kit 5 times before I would spray again.

 

I used 1200 degree Ceramic Engine paint for mine and I think they came out great. It's more about prep than paint IMO. Brake Cleaner and a wire brush drill attachment got it nice and primed. No need to pull the caliper either, just a decent mask job. So far it's holding up awesome.Now I just need to get some time to do the caliper stickers I bought

 

I used the duplicolor kit $15.00 at oreiley's ceramic brush on type but flows out smooth. covers in almost 1 coate and it seems to last.

 

Agreed, $15 at Walmart, worked great.

 

I just bought the Dupli-Color Caliper Paint kit at Advance Auto Parts. It was on sale for I thought $12 bucks, but when the lady rang it up she said $8.22 please. I didn't know if I read the sale price wrong or if she rang it up wrong,all I know is I slapped the $$$ down and skipped my happy but right out of there! I got outside and looked on the receipt and it said Dupli-Color Caliper Paint so I guess it was that cheap. I was going to buy another one but they just had Red left no Black. Don't you just love it when you get a good deal!

 

i dont think i spent more than 3-4 dollars for a can of High Temp paint from pepboys, matches the truck perfectly cause i actually painted something on the truck's bottom using it. Here are my results, one year and 10,000 miles later still looks like that, after they are cleaned of course hehe.

 

Thanks alot, I think I'll go with the brush on paint,...as long as it smoothes out...yours look pretty good.

 

Used the Dupli-kit also. They have been looking good for 20K. I put 3 coats on too.

 

any pics with white calipers???...wonder what that would look like?
