how to hit 7s in the 1/8th ?

With a setup like mine (see sig), what are you guys running in the 1/8th?

got some new times last night after installing my 4lb pulley, chip, plugs. ran a 8.284 @ 83.462 with 60' of 1.958. That's with stock F1s, 4 runs and all my 60s were in the 1.9s, stock suspension, 27-28lbs air... i am fab'ing up some spring clamps now. Track conditions 62 degrees, ~75% humidity, elevation 1900ft and I *think* this track is accounting for the elevation with their timers, not 100% sure though. You can't get around the water box at this track, wife videoed me and you could see the huge wet trails i left up til i spun the tires over a few times. not sure if that's hurting me though. I was on my 4lb "race" tune. I did pull my front sway bar, spare was removed.

so the question is, do you guys think i can hit 7s with some 28" ET Streets and better air (less humid, cool) ? I don't want to port my blower or add any more boost, and really don't want to add any more "power adders" at this time. I would love to crack into the 7s with just this setup... Closest 1/4 mile track (Bristol) is 2 hrs away, hoping to get into the 12s there on street tires. thx

Electric fan/28" slicks/good air

Just so you don't feel bad....I ran similar times last year on a 2lb pulley and street tires. I have since added an MP blower and a bunch of other goodies. Last night i ran an 8.1 I think it could be the 80 degree weather/100% humidity at the track though!
