2000 L is taking its last breath
I need some help

very bad idle and even worse going down the road.
checked with scanner 2 codes
front 2 banks lean.

not sure what is causing this. tried to check fuel pressure but the gauge would not hook up the the fuel rail.

also runns most for the time in open loop mode

any ideas

please help

 

something has got to be unpluged somewhere like an o2 sensor or even one that is bad

 

When you scanned it did you look at the data and see what the O2's are reading or did you just pull the codes>???
How many miles are on the truck>???
Mods>???
Has it been taken care of>???

HOLD IT right there!!!!
You need to check fuel pressure. Very common thing on 99-00 trucks. Factory hose clamps on fuel pumps become loose. If so, R&R fuel tank and replace clamps.
