I use one on my 93 454ss, built motor, KB 2.2L blower 15psi race 10 psi street. It's a fairly simple hookup actually , one ground wire, one postive out to fuel pump , one postive in from fuel pump relay. a couple small wires that hook up to a manifold switch that turns it on at 3 psi boost and higher. Also the control **** that mounts inside the cab. Basically what it does is feed the pump normal voltage while driving normal, when getting into boost it will switch on and start turning the voltage up to the pump to a max of 19-20 volts depending where you have the **** at which makes the pump run faster giving you more fuel pressure which will flow more fuel through the injectors. On my truck it made a dramatic improvement. TBI injection runs at 13-14psi normal, under 8 psi boost the FMU regulator cuts the return off kicking it up to 25psi fuel pressure. Problem I was having at WOT it would jump up to 25psi fuel pressure and would start dropping down to 20psi at the high rpms , you could actually feel the truck slow down. With the boost a pump set at 20 on the dial it would hold at a steady 30psi under WOT and 10 psi boost. When I turned it up to 15 PSI boost I turn the control up to 50 the max setting and it pegs out my 45psi fuel pressure guage and runs very strong. For My Lightning I was thinking of hooking 2 boost a pumps to each fuel pump,1 switch could be tapped into intake manifold on back side 1/4NPT thread, both units hooked to one switch, then both units could be spliced into using one control ****. Basically its like cheating the computer and MAF into flowing more fuel than it thinks under WOT, With a good wideband you could adjust your A/F on the fly with the turn of the **** ,Also for diffrent boost levels. I also have an custom adapted BBK timing adjuster for a modular 4.6 mustang to fit on a lightning. Basically eliminating the need for a chip because i can control the timing and A/f ratio. This is only theory right now, I Think Johnny Lightning uses dual boost a pumps on his truck also.

I had one on my v6 camaro for running nitrous. Its adjustable, and when turned up all the way, when you first turn the key and the fuel system pressurizes itself, the fuel pump is louder than ever........a nice humming for a few secs.

Im not sure if it does all that much. At the time I thought it was easier than installing an AFPR and walbro fuel pump.

In the long run, not a good idea. Pumps probably are not designed to run at higher than 15v. I have even heard of them being used on electric water pumps to increase HP.

srt-10, ssr, cyclone, 454ss, Lightning, El Camino and any other type of performance truck out there.

Yeah I like them all.

With the price of an srt-10 dipping into the mid 30's, it could be an option.
