Well for a while I have been having a problem with this circuit affecting the tranny shifts in a very unpleasant way. I changed the sensor..even replaced the Vehicle Speed Sensor. The speedo would bounce and then the tranny would hunt. I kept thinking it must be the exciter or whatever the sensor picked up it's digital?? signal from. Trouble is I failed to do a good visual check of the wiring harness on the passenger side of the tranny. Guess what.....I found a puddle of hardened goo on the tubing running along that side....the bundle of wires had been burnt by whatever hot parts it was rubbing/laying on. peeled back the sheathing and several wires were melted together. Separated same and taped up..Problem is fixed. Now having said this I am having a Lean Bank code ...I noticed the rear O2 sensor on the passenger side crosses and or is part of this harness..Does anyone know if that wiring loop runs with the bundle for the tranny?

Guess I'll be pulling it all out soon enough to do a better job of inspection and repair.

I would advise checking this bundle..I have replaced a tranny and had thought the wiring was routed well..my mistake.
