Question Oil in the intercooler question

Hey guys,

I plan to clean all the oil out of my intake and intercooler tommorrow.. I did a search on this and looked at a few pics and noticed oil pooling at the bottom of the lower intake plenum..My question is did ford design that hole at the bottom of the plenum to drain all of the oil back into the motor? If so, it seems as it may be getting clogged with gunk from all of the heated oil and trash and not draining properly.. Would it be wise to drill the hole a little bigger to open up the drain? Just curious about this.. Also could someone send me a pic of what hoses to plug with the PCVs to keep oil out..

THanks..

It doesn't drain back into the block - because the line goes back up towards the T just below the passenger side of the upper plenum.

...and it's a tiny metered orafice. Don't drill it - cap it off: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=196408
