The links hang low enough ,I dont think that will be a problem.

I've use a set of the frame hooks for the last year. I put a short length of chain on mine to keep my nylon straps away from the frame and also to provide the correct angle when I X the straps. I hook the front to the frame behind the front tires to keep the angle low and away from rubbing on the front valance. They also come in handy when you go to the dyno, you can be assured your tied down properly. The only way to go.
