2004 DSG Lightning. 5000 miles, hard tonneau cover, like new, no mods. So what would you pay for this truck? Dealer is asking $28500. TIA.

i recently paid 27.5K for an 03 with 2400 miles with 4lb, bassani exhaust, intake, drop shackles, and triple pillar gauge.

So that is a pretty good price for an 04 but you could do a little better. Start bargaining!!!

My problem will come in when we start talking trade in on my 02. Eventhough the truck is nearly perfect and has almost no miles, I know they'll try and rape me on it which could break the deal.

 

Your red one is sharp. Very sharp. I'll trade you straight up for my daily driver. You need a chevy sitting in that driveway! Too many fords sitting around thar. Besides it's quicker than 3/4 of the fords at your place.

Yep. You'll get killed on it no matter what. You've got a low mileage (and I assume pristine) '02. That's the worst kind of trade you can have b/c you won't come close to getting what its worth.

I'd just keep what you have unless you can find a desperate '04 seller who will give the truck away (26-27k max is all that one is worth) and then sell your truck to a lucky person who wants a really nice, low mileage L.
