Rear Uneven?

I've noticed (by measurement) that the driver side rear of my 01 is 31" from the top of the wheel opening to the ground, and my passenger side sits 32". I have the 3" rear shackle drop. I know that the gas tank is on the drivers side...would an almost full tank of fuel make that much difference? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what is the fix? The bed appears to be correctly mounted on the frame?

I dont think the gas tank is the problem, because mine stays the same with or without a full tank.

yes but this is a common problem due to added weight and torque from the motor. i had a 3/8" spacer plate made and placed it between the spring and the axle on my 99'.

In my case it looks like the bed is sitting slightly higher on the passenger side judging from a visual comparison with the bottom of the rear window. However, I can't see any reason why as the bed is sitting directly on the frame rails and nothing appears to be loose. I guess when I install the rear lowering hangers to get another inch or so lower in the rear I'll have to shim the bed to level it out. I'll be lowering the front at the same time as well. BTW, the front seems to sit level as it is now (stock).
