Would like some opinions...

Hi all of you,

Well, after reading quite a few posts on these boards, I finally took the plunge today and ordered a few parts for my L (its a 2002 w/ 20K miles, and till this point was completely stock...). Would like some opinions on these:

NGK TR-6 spark plugs
160 deg. thermostat
Motoblue Gen II idler pulleys/bracket
Motoblue Aux. idler
Motoblue HP series CAI
DiabloSport Predator
Accufab polished SB/TB
C&L inlet pipe
6# Motoblue QC Lower w/ Gatorback belt
FTVB with Moroso pan and filter
Bassani cat-back

All parts are going to be installed this weekend. Barring any major problems, I hope to have it up and running Saturday night.

Does anyone have any info about problems i may encounter? I am especially interested in hearing from anyone with a Predator - hope that all the good luck people seem to have had with these doesnt evaporate when i start tinkering with it...Any tips would be sincerely appreciated!

Thanks, and I look forward to your responses!

Sounds like you bought a lot of RPM mod's. I wouldn't buy the predator from them, unless they can custom tune now. You can purchase the predator from one of the vendor's on here and get a custom tune at probably the same cost!!

bglanden - Yeah, you're right about RPMoutlet....also hit up Chikenears for the FTVB. If I need to, i'll work out the Predator issue after it all comes in... Any opinions on the parts themselves as far as quality (or lack thereof)?

No problem with part's except I received the wrong belt with the pulley!! Best of luck with the predator, I would do a search on here and pay close attention to all said.

one of rpmoutlet's scams is to send u the wrong belt with your pulley and then charge you s/h to send it back and get the right one... the price is good on the c&l plenum/sbtb package though. I'd shy away from the pulley/filter/chip from them and fork out the little extra to get a custom tune from a tuner because 9/10 have problems with the stock predator pulley tune.
