hey guys.

9's are a long ways off for me. with the pt88 and some traction i would be happy with some mid 10's. then some stronger driveline parts and even more traction then who knows. right now the truck runs consistant high 10's with me going easy on it out of the hole(stock firestone tires, stock front and rear diffs).

i do have some serious plans for it. going to step up to twins over the winter and really crank it up. i hope to see 1300+rwhp eventualy and be right up there with JL. keeping it as a dialy driver makes things a little harder but i sure have fun driving it to work and around town.

just for a break down of last weekend....

friday, drove around town and raced some random people, put about 100miles on it.
saturday, drove to the track about 60miles one way, ran a high 10, drove it back home.
sunday, drove it to the dyno about 50 miles one way, pulled 767rwhp and 1000rwtq and drove it back home
the next week, drove it to work a few times.

btw, i hope to make a few road trips this year and dont really feel comfortable driving it more than a couple hundred miles and beating the **** out of it. i came over here to do some research on a tow vehicle/bad weather driver. thinking about a 99 f250sd but i just can't decide on what motor to get. i can get a 200k mile diesel for about $11k or a 100K mile gaser for the same price. if gas then 5.4 or v10. hmmmmm

Nice looking Chevy. I think Johnny will be looking to run in the low 9's - high 8's this year.

I don't know how you guys can say that he can't call Johnny out.

Johnny broke how many times going for 9's?? He hosed down Bowling Green with antifreeze I believe it was.

That truck is on freakin firestones, and can be driven to work. Yeah, he might not have him on just ET, but it's consistent and runs like all hell....and it's still a TRUCK.

He also says he has future plans, so as far as I'm concerned, I'll be the first one to laugh and cheer my *** off when he runs right by JL on his hot air balloon slicks, because after all, HE'S SHOWING US FORD GUYS HOW IT'S DONE.

Can't wait to see what Sals Turbo does, and Chikins truck, because they are both street driven, maybe then we can all talk and bench race vehicles that aren't ours, until them Parish is my hero.

look what he did with a full size truck on street tires I guess he could be gay like Johnny and have to tub the rear which is gay. His truck is a street driven truck.

BTW I thoguth Johnny said spraying was cheating to sal. WHY IS HE DOING IT NOW?

When you twist the rear frame due to launching so hard and making the amount of power JLP is making, you have to "tub the rear."

If that is gay... Sign me up!

Cuz I'm tired of all the JL nut hugging goin on. Don't put down a real truck that can drive to work and back and still put up those kind of numbers.

If ANYONE on this site has room to talk to Parish it's Chickin, surely not JL.

Watch that vid again, I DOUBT that was a full pass.
