4lb pulley problem

I have bought a 99 L with 60,000 miles and I wanted to hop it up a little. So I bought a 4lb pulley and superchips tuner. I installed the tuner and I love it, but the pulley is a different story. I have worked on getting the stock pulley off all day and I just can't get it off. I tried a brakeover bar and cheater bar to loosen it but that didn't work. I couldn't fit a 1/2" drive impact gun in the space so I got a sweval head socket and that didn't get it. I bought an adapter so I could use a 3/4" drive impact and it still didn't move. So I finally put a brakeover bar on the allen head and strapped it to the frame and turned over my starter. The starter wouldn't even turn it over. I don't know what to do. It is like the bolt it welded to the pulley. Can anyone help me or am I just fu%$#&!
Anyone with some helpful info please reply.

Are you taking off the transmission inspection plate to bolt down the transmission so it won't move when you try to unbolt the pulley? Are you also turning Right to loosen the bolt? It's opposite than normal..

I am turning it to the left if you are looking at the pulley. I tried it both ways though. My pulley turns to the right if the truck is running so it should loosen to the left.

I started out turning it to the right and impacting it to the right with no luck so then I started turning it to the left so I don't know. It says left hand thread so it should be right to loosen but I couldn't ever get that to work either.

I put the front of the truck up on jack stands. Then fasten the torque converter strap on. Then get under it from the front I put a 1/2" breaker bar on the nut and leave the breaker bar handle hanging straight down. I brace my self and then use my foot to give it a quick stomp. That will break it free, but be advise once it breaks free the bolt turns real easy. That is the reason for the short quick stomp.

Peace,

Suavy

You have to have patience - I broke mine loose like Suavy did. Had the longest piece of pipe I coud fit over my breaker bar underneath there for leverage and for a while, I didn't think I'd ever get it loose - then "pop", came right off. It will come loose for you.

Ditto what they said. Breaker Bar with a piece of pipe for leverage and the ole foot trick (ok so I pulled my back out and was cripple for a week, it was a small price to pay)

"You can do it"
