L motor and HD motor are the same
i was thinking more along the lines of calling Jim or Johnny or Sal and get a built long block and put that in the HD

the L motor and HD motor aren't the same if i've got a 00 HD. no s/c on the HD's til 02.

definately dont have any 10K to be dropping on a built motor, kb, monsterbox, etc. etc. etc. I've got 3K right now which was exactly how much i'd need for the motor/tranny/computer off ebay, then by the time i went to install in late july/early august hopefully i'd have enough saved up to get it into the 85
