It has happent 2 me!

Last night i was getting a soda from 7-11 and as soon as I started the truck I heard a loud bang/pop. At first I thought I blew my motor. I come to find out it was the #8 spark plug shot out. It ruined my coil pack and boot for the spark plug.

Now here is the question. Does ford realize the issue and will an aftermarket warranty company replace the head, because to me if feels like the threads are stripped in the head?

Any info will greatly help. thanks~eric

Well if your truck is unmodded and under warrenty it will be covered. If it's not stock then be prepared to shell out $2000 plus or put a Time Sert in it.

Unhappy

Mine just left on a trailer this morning to get repaired from a blown plug... Gotta love the "Ford Engineering"...
