I have an 2003 and noticed that the doors are a different shade than the dash. It is not a big difference but if you look you can tell.

some interior pieces are darker on some trucks than others. My old man's truck is an 03 and some of his pieces are different then my 00

 

The dash is darker than the rest of the interior trim.

Maybe after years of direct sunlight they may match

 

My '04 pillars and grab bars were two different colors. The driver's side was dark gray and passenger side was light gray. Made the dealer fix it. It only took three times in with wrong parts ordered each time.

 

My girl just went through this with her car, took 3 dif pieces of trim before one of them closely matched what was in the car. parts guy said it was just dif batches of paint, but they'r all a similar color, just not a perfect matching color
