Intercooler Instructions....

I just recently purchased a new intercooler for my 2000 Lightning...and yes its the upgrade kit. I've got a problem though...I've never done an install on one of these myself and was wondering if anyone had any instructions or new of any spec's on the install. (special torque #'s for tightening the bolts, or tighening patterns...etc.) I tried calling Ford, and they wouldn't help me...I even call an SVT Dealer and he still wouldn't help me...he said he didn't have any mechanical instructions for installing an intercooler. He said the only thing I could do is buy a $50 manual on line....go figure...he wants me to spend more money. I tried to explain to him that the kit that ford sells comes with an instruction sheet...but he said that all Ford parts never come with instructions....so anyway...if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I got lucky and found one on e-bay from a wrecked lightning. Its coming from California, so who knows when it will get here. Plus all those links say to replace the bolts with new one's and other people say its not a big deal. Does anyone know from experience on what to do? Plus should I be using locktight on the bolts?

Between me and the guys in our club (AZLOC) I have swapped over 15 blowers including KB's with 15 + pounds of boost. I have always reused the bolts and gaskets and have never heard that loctite was needed either. Hope this helps.
