Technically RUSLOWs truck is the fastest. Chicken1s is one of the quickest.

Yes, that's Chikins. He posted the ad on our local forum as well. I've seen the truck run in person. Amazing. No doubt it'll make the new owner very happy.

It is just kinda funny to me that so many people - just as soon as they get their truck the way they want it to be - end up selling it soon after.

What do they know that we don't know yet?

Makes you wonder, since having a truck like that is goal most of us have.

Confused...

LOL....Don't make me think about the money I am about to drop on my truck, I haven't driven it in close to a year though so I don't think I will sell it after its finished, But I was very happy with it when it was running and would have kept it that way if it didnt throw a rod. I'm basically getting a built motor so it doesnt happen again b/c I really have hated being without the truck.

9Sec, fresh must mean updated since last fall with the amount of high boost/high nitrous runs on it .

Not much fun having a daily driven 10 second L if you have to put a fresh motor in every few months.

40 grand for an abused and street raced Lightning? Give me some of what he is smoking.

Funny how all that smack talk last fall is just that this spring.

You genii guys are a hoot.

HuH>???

Do you know any of the info behind it>??? I don't.

Maybe he put 20,000 miles on the motor and wanted to go thru it>??? You are "supposed" to go thru a race motor every season or so, no>??? Maybe there was a problem or bad part in the motor and it needed to be gone thru. Many things for you to be coming on with the ignorant statements. I feel he more then proved himself last fall and his truck impressed me more then ANYONE elses. -Mat-

Well if the Motor is built properlly there is no reason it can't be driven and raced for a long time without any problems.

I can only speak for my truck.
My motor is on it's 3rd season, I have about 40,000-50,000 miles on it, around 300 1/4 mile runs, and it is running perfect.

I am sure I will need a freshening up after this year, but by then I will have close to 70,000 plus miles and who knows how many more 1/4 mile runs.
