Stock boost overlay

I found this guy on another site that made a overlay to put over the stock boost gauge for the 03-04 Cobras. Now he is almost ready to start selling one for the Lightnings. Instead of stoping at 10 this overlay gives you a higher boost reading. The one for the Cobra looked great, just like Ford had put it there. It really looks like a OEM gauge. I think i'm going to try one. When I find out more i'll let you guys know.

I read a post about this a while back.

Sounds like a decent alternative to an aftermarket gauge.

What does the overlay read up to?

That's the guy in the link that cody_04L put up. His web site is in the link also. From what the Cobra guys that has them said, they really like them. Like I said I think i'll try one. I know it might not give you as accurate of a reading as a aftermarket boost gauge, but it would look better than the stock gauge now, pegged out at 10.

It reads up to 16lbs of boost. If you calibrate it correctly, it's as accurate as any aftermarket gauge. I have been running this for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. Ray is very detailed in his work and it shows in the overlay. If you didn't know it was changed, you'd think it came like that from the factory. He'll have his site done here shortly and you'll be able to see some pics. Any other questions about it just email me.
