Anothe rService engine soon light...

This time looks to be Security related?

3 codes in total. Can anyone tell me anything about then before I go get it scanned by an actual scanner.

The codes from the Gauge clusture are..

9356- Ignition run circuit open. If I remember correctly this code always shows up when checking codes with the truck not running so I can ignore it.

D147- SCP Invalid or missing data for vehicle security

D262- Missing SCP message

What the heck do those mean?

Question

You certainly have me stumped. I looked around a little bit and can't find any info on "D" codes. Get it hooked up to a scanner and let us know if you get a better code description that way. Also what year is your truck>??? -Mat-

If you are doing the "gauge cluster" diag test, just disregaurd it all. It's a worthless test. I'd like to shoot the original person who posted that stupid test.

Ya, I only check the gauge clusture for codes when I don;t have access to a real code reader just to get an idea. These codes have to do with some sort of security so I am not too worried about them. I will check the actual codes tonight. The truck is still under warrenty and since this seems to have nothing to do with the drive train I will get it done through warrenty.

Here is a link with the gauge codes. Like Sal said they are not worth much but give you an idea of what the problem relates to...

Well I got the truck hooked up to a scanner and Sal was right. The codes from the dash mean nothing!! They were not even close. The codes I got are..

P1132 Lack Of HO2S1 Switches, Rich (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

and

P1152 Lack Of HO2S1 Switches, Rich (Bank 2, Sensor 1)

Sal, Can this be due to the break in tune I am running since I would assume a break in tune would be on the rich side?

Thanks, Jason
