need current tire & wheel info, please

Need new tires, and new wheels too if I go to 20" FWIW Lakeshore Tire and Wheel have stock GY F1's for $212 ea. right now. Anybody have them cheaper? Last year or so there was a dealer in S. Alabama who had them for $139 or so?

Going to 20's Lakeshore have chrome 20" 99-00 replicas for $299.25 ea with lifetime guarantee on wheel and 2 yrs on finish. I really would prefer silver, possibly in 03-04 style or silver in 99-00? Anybody know if either are available?

Was thinking about using 295-45-20 tires instead of 295-40-20. Gives a little more sidewall protection and fills up wheel wells. Know speedometer needs recalibrating, but any real downside to using this bigger tire? Lakeshore had "45 size" in BFG G force KDW for $224, Yoko AVS $229, and Pirelli Scorpion for $249. Want a treadwear rating of at least 300, AA traction, V,Z, or W speed rating? Other suggestions and sources for either "45" or "40"?

FWIW Lakeshore uses Hunter 9700 in mounting/balancing process $60 for 4. Can even get road hazard for about $112 for 4.

Other suggestions for a not too expensive 5 spoke deep dish wheel? Classified has Enkei Phat 20's that look pretty good? Anybody thinking about selling their 20's & tires. Maybe even used stock 18 F1's? Want as many possible options.

Thanks for looking at long-winded thread and for any advice!

The pictures I saw are not '99 style
I have a '99 Lightning and I would love to find 20 " replicas
They have stopped making them.

The wheels I saw were 2001 bar style Lightning wheels.

I'll double check but I had my credit card out and then terminated the order.

I have a 2000L. Yours and mine both have longer, comparatively thin, straight arms (5) on our wheels. the 01-02's have the thicker, and for lack of a better term "broken line" arms making them look smaller than 99-00. Pic and Lakeshore say 99-00. I would be just as happy with 03-04 if you know anybody who makes those in 20's?

In regards to the 295/45/20 tire I got mine at Costco for about 235-240 each but that included balancing, mounting, lifetime rotation and all that other crap.

It was the BFG KDW2. To add a bit to this story I woke up this morning and found my brand spanking new, two week old tire flat on my truck. Less than 5 psi..... Found a nail in the sidewall.

-BUT-

Good news is that it falls under warranty!! So all I have to do is limp around until the new tire gets in which should be tue/wed.

So with that being said I am VERY pleased with the service from Costco thus far.
