Lightning Headlights With HID Kit Installed

I have the lightning headlight assembly on my F-150. I really want to get a HID kit but people are saying there's going to be glare, hot spots and the beam will be all over the place. Does anyone else have HID installed? Does it work in the housing? Thanks A Bunch.

I have the sylvania hid xenarcs and I have NONE of the problems you described... One of the single best mods I have ever done.

But, it does come with it's own new housing and wiring harness..

Ditto, I sucked it up and did the Sylvania kit and it looks GREAT. Of course, it makes my fog lights look like they're covered in Velveeta, but I'm working on that

Did you use sylvania housing or the L's housing thats what I want to use is the L's and just buy a kit with the bulbs and ballast only.

I know. All this HID crap is crazy it's either glare, no high beam, modding your headlights (cutting to fit) for projection, cutting wires, hot spots, and so on. If you ask me it's all maddess at this point. So I give up and just stick with with my regular bulbs. It crazy overly complicated. So at this point I will end the crazy search and label it as a failure.

I got my Xenarc kit from there. I also just did yellow fogs for that lexus/acura/benz look.

The kit use to be $500 but now is $400 on there site. The kit is great and very easy to install and between stock lights and the hids it's like night and day.

Cool

The X2010 is the kit. Headlights made by Visteon (same manufacturer as the Lightning headlights), dual element, perfect fit, excellent light pattern, etc.

You can get them on Sylvania's web site for $399, and that includes FedEx 2 day shipping.

I installed them a week ago and I highly recommend them. GREAT KIT !!!
