how much boost and power can our stock blocks handle?

Hi!

I picked up a 2002 Lightning a couple of months back and have been lurking the forums. The previous owner had a reflashed PCM, air filter kit, and a 4 lb. lower pulley installed. I also think it has a Magnaflow catback and Ranch lift bars.

Welp, the warranty, or what's left of it, is going this coming summer and I'm itching for more power. I've been reading a lot about these aftermarket blowers: the Apten, Magnum Powers, and KB. I don't want to start another controversy over these puppies (I read the 14-page thread on here about them) but I was wondering how much our stock blocks can handle before throwing a rod? I'm assuming the most amount of boost that can be handled is the same no matter which manufacturer's blower it's coming from...

I'm shooting for an easy 460 rwhp while still on the stock block.

Thanks a lot!

460 with an apten will be tough (lots of mods)

460 with either the KB or MP should be easy.

I'm at 435/522 with:
6# lower
Apten ported
90mm maf
phenolic spacer
Efan
jlp dual ram air CAI
PSP Dyno tune (Conservative street tune only)

I'm freeing up the exhaust this spring.
