well i figure the Magnum and exhaust alone is close to $2k. Then all the efans, idlers, rims, sct, slicks, etc should all add up to another $2k.... thats $4k if I part out... so I would have to get $15k i owe, plus $4k = $19k if i sold as is....

My babygirl is 6 months old now and rides in the lightning just fine. It's actually pretty cool to have her there facing me and 90% of the time it's just us two in the truck, so it's just as cramped as normal. If the wife is present we'll take her car, but when we need the truck it's no problem.

I thought I would have to sell it -and when #2 is the way I'm sure I'll need something else..but heck thats at least another year+ out.

Sauvy was kind enough to get me an X-plan as I had planned to do the same thing you are...but I just couldn't pay more for a lesser truck. Don't be to quick to sell the L because of the baby...it's not as bad as you think.

Congratulations by the way!!
Not top scare you, but it's very dangerous to have a baby in the front seat of a vehicle with air bags. If the passenger side isn't deactivated I would warn against it.

My passenger side airbag has been OFF since I bought it. I've only turned it on when my wife rides shotgun. I have 2 kiddies, and would never risk their lives in the truck. I've actually been rear-ended in the truck (well, 3 TIMES, but who's counting...) with my 4 yr old daughter at the time. Thankfully the airbag was off, and all she got was some hurt feelings. My airbag went off (I was hit so hard, I slammed the guy in front of me), and scared her to death.

Congrats on the new baby. I've been there. Was >< this close to selling it a few months ago . Even stripped out ALL my mods, but figured out a way to keep it, and have been remodding ever since!
