It's connected to the EGR related brackets (which I've removed completely).

Any ideas? Can I keep it unplugged? It looks like some sort of unused temp sensor?

 

Im pretty sure thats the barometric pressure sensor...

Im also pretty sure that sensor IS used by the eec...
