To keep my buffer and cutting compound off them. I had some swirl marks from the previous owner to work out. Came out nice too.

Here's a pic for the guy that wanted to see it on a stock wheeled red L.

Thanks. I'm definitely pleased

For anyone who is interested in doing this here is a tip... BRAKE CLEANER.
I have got to say DAMN did the brake cleaner work well. I could do all three badges in a half hour with brake cleaner, seriously. It just melted the paint off instantly.

Told ya! And with brake cleaner, if you get a little spill or slip on to the paint you just have to wipe it real quick. With acetone your dead if you touch the paint. Much safer and faster.

Man those wheels are sweet. Does anyone make a similar wheel for an 05 F-150 Screw 6 bolt?

eff all that work with the q-tips.....get a friend to come over, mask off around the badges, then take a can of brake cleaner. Have your friend hold a rag under the bottom so it catches any run off before it hits the paint and spray the badges down...then wait a min, and just wipe the black off. Thats how I did mine and they came out MINT. took all of 30mins for all 3badges with most of that time being taping the area around the badges off.

WFT...I bought some brake cleaner and I've been scrubbing these things forever and it's hardly coming off...Already spent 1.5 hrs on the tailgate emblem and it's not even 3/4 done. Why isn't this working ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! :-)
