Vid of RAMAIRSVT's 10 sec pass

I watched and watched the vid. Look how much the front raises whe he first launches. That instant center is wayyyyy fwd. The truck makes so much torque that it just raises the front, the rear tires bounce back, the truck suddenly falls, spinning the tires.
Either a instant center that is just ahead of the CG or a easier launch is needed for better ETs.

I was running 15 inch bograts w/ 30 tall radial slick' the truck squatted down to the stops and gave the appearance of the rear end shifting fwd because the ft of the slick touched the ft of the wheel well
If anyone who watched the launch please chime in of what needs to be done to get out of the hole better let me know. Thanks Mike

I was at the track in Houston checking out shock setting using QA-1s The 1st vid is with a setting of 6 in the back and 1 in the front.....way to much bounce. 2nd is with a setting of 2 in the front and 8 in the back....still to much but getting better. 3rd is with a setting of 4 in the front and 8 in the back.....no bounce 1.54 60s and an easy 10.

I ran 10.8x I think 1 or 2 that night against the race car, but was out there more for the shocks than an all out run. Once I dailed it in I ran an 10.80 pass with my plugs fouling.........learned alot that night......Hope this helps
. As far as how fast the race car went, I am not sure, but he said that he did not expect me to give that much Hell.

That was helpful, thanks; nice vids too. What was your best ET that night? What did the race car run in the last vid?

By the looks of your launch, I'll bet you got a lot more in there. Mid 10's are around the corner

The 10.97 run was only a 1.68 60'ft
Hookin' Up
First off, congratz on breaking into the 10's. I watched your Vid, and your truck came up high in the front and then back down and bounced. I would switch to one of the long Rancho style t-bars that help lift and keep the front high for a longer period of time. Good luck, I'm sure you'll dial in your setup and go quicker.
