Sounds like a great time. Sorry I couldnt make it, the truck isnt done yet.

I did get an update from the track later in the day and BTJ's Eaton powered Lightning went 11.19 on 15lbs of boost.

Fred, you are a class act man. We are gonna have fun swapping this title around! The truck is running awesome. This was my first run of the day, cool engine, cool temps, great hooking track. Jim has my tune, well, it's perfect. Street manners are great, and it runs an 11.5 with a 1.58 60', go figure. I have most of the standard bolt-on mod's, major ones, SCT programmer, #6 lower pulley, long tubes, elect. fan, rear QA1's, Rancho/JDM traction bars, and 28x10 Hoosiers/American Racing wheels (screwed). The Magnum is really coming into it's own for me. Thanks to the JDM team, Magnum Powers, and Fred (my racing mentor and friend.) Let's see, this was at Maryland International Raceway, Cecil mod 2 tenths = 11.3???? Our new club down here (Tidewater Lightning Owners Club) rented the track today and we plan to do it again in the fall. We had a cook-out that was unreal. Maybe some of you can make it the next time around. As said RAMAIRSVT got his ten today, that truck is wicked, and he was even having some launch issues. JJ had BTJ's truck running low 11's (11.19 i think) and was impressive with a built motor and ported Eaton. We had several trucks running solid 11's, some new 12 second club members, and some close to stock trucks running low 13's. ICULOKN had his wifes car (Mustang) and had just missed 11's when i left (12.03) (hope he got it). Absolutely great day, fall can't come soon enought!

John...congrats bud! Glad to hear its running strong. On a side note, I didn't know you were a TLOC member...are you under the same name there? I'll be in Norfolk for a while. Oh, on another side note, congrats to Ramair too! I knew that was 10 second material!

Definately congrats John. It was a fun day. You have the local stock block title from me for now. But I'll be back with some suspension mods. I can't let a MP truck beat me. HaHa
By the way my new best was today with a 11.79@116.1 1.68 60'
I think i've maxed out my slapper bars.

I didn't get my new best on video, but iwlbeetu is my girlfriend driving our truck in the link. She ran a best of 11.90@115.5. It's great to have a girlfriend as excited about racing the lightning as me. How many 11 sec girls do we have in Lightnings.
