Exclamation Hotchkis Rear Leaf Pic/Question

i thought i remember reading on here a while back that somebody with a Lightning got some used hotchkis rear leafs, and the one clamp on each was bent coming open, and he posted pics, and emailed hotchkis and they warrantied them and sent him out new ones ?
am i just crazy or does anybody remember that post?

i tried searching but couldnt find the thread

here's a few pics of mine that i just got. just curious if i should try to hit hotchkis up for a warranty, or if i'm just as well off throwing them in the truck as is

thanks for the help!

Why not just take them to a local spring shop or truck shop? Looks like an easy repair.

i have absoutely no idea where one of those would be around here.

would it just be fine to put them in as they are now?

Chester Springs- 610-876-8318 Ask for Sam. They can make most any spring. It's in Crum Lynne, PA. Probably 20 minutes from South Philly.

I would start with truck repair in the yellow pages and go from there.

I would repair them. Why chance it over a few dollars in repair costs?

Anyone have lightning leafs for sale. I'd like to put them on my 98 NASCAR....would they fit?
